Head of Bright Academy + Senior Learning Strategist

Bright is hiring a new leader to shape, build, and run our growing learning strategy and creative studio division - starting with the implementation of a customer-facing Bright Academy. The aim of the capability goes beyond SaaS customer training. Our aim is to equip the next generation of learning leaders to undeniably prove the ROI of learning. This leader will serve as a learning strategist working closely with a broad (and amazing!) team of creatives to help both Bright and our customers wield practice-focused learning experiences in conversation simulation, software simulation, scenario-based learning, virtual reality, digital content delivery, and more.  As an investor-backed company, we already have a diverse team, and as an Equal Opportunity Employer, plan to keep it that way. Washington DC Area OR Remote

Position Overview
You will partner with the Head of CX + our Creative Director to:

  • Conduct learning strategy workshops for both external client engagements + internal Bright Academy design

  • Design programs + build financial models to determine the ideal training ROI for selected modalities + experiences

  • Write scripts + work with art director to create storyboards for digital 'masterclass' style experiences

  • Envision a forward leaning customer-facing program to build the next generation of learning leaders (and Bright platform users)

  • Lead a studio team of multiple writers, art directors, film, animators, and editors to produce designed learning experiences
     

Critical Experience

  • Learning Strategy Design

  • Program Redesign

  • Experience designing for hybrid programs using film, animation, simulation and more

  • Strong writing/storyboarding skills for video production

 

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP)

  • Experience designing for VR

  • Prior experience designing multiple, large-scale global learning programs

 

Requirements:

  • 7-10 Years Experience

  • Background Check - simple criminal (US federal and state), work experience and education history

 

Compensation:

  • Base: $160,000 - $180,000/year based on experience and skills.

  • Bonus eligible

  • Equity opportunity available
